Steve Miller Band

I am one that absolutely loves all music. So I will tell you about the genre of music that I listen to the least. That genre is Smooth Jazz. I do like smooth Jazz, I just really never listen to it! I don't listen to it much because I spend all my time listening to country, rap. and hip-hop.

Devil, Do you like drums?

The "Dangerous" album by Morgan Wallen is my favorite album of all time. It is a country album that speaks to man different emotions. There are songs in there that you can rock out to when you're trying to get hype. There are songs that will get you through a tough day, and there is one of the most lyrically gifted songs on that album that I have ever heard in my life. This was Morgan's first big album that did astronomical numbers. It has like thirty or more songs on it, yet I can sing along to every one of them. I remember when it first dropped, that it was the only thing I listened to on a daily basis!

Next Right Moves

I might need to elaborate on some things or even add whole new pieces of storytelling to the paper. Im about 50 words short of the 1250 needed. Although, I feel like I have elaborated pretty good on everything. That is why I need another opinion from my partner today in class. Hopefully they can see what I don't see and tell me where I may need to add more stuff.

Clothes with Real Labels

The time I went to Lake Tahoe on a friend's vacation. The people there were from a higher social class as far as their houses, vehicles, and clothing. They had high end, close to a million dollar homes. A lot of people there were driving Mercedes Benz, Teslas, and Range Rovers. Even tho people's clothing may not have been name brand stuff, you could tell that their clothing wasn't cheap or that they weren't going for comfort, they were going for style. The landscape even felt like something elegant. The air was more breathable, the trees and grass were lush, and the water in the lakes were as clear as glass.

On A Journey

Like the topic of my remembering essay, I went on a journey to the Dominican Republic. Not only was it a physical journey, but it was a spiritual journey as well. I feel as though I grew as a human being. I became more self aware, and more thankful for what I had back home. I was more self aware that I have a lot when it comes to material things. Which, coincidentally, in turn made me feel that materialistic things were less important now. I saw how the villagers in the DR really appreciated life, and made the most out of what they had. It was very eye opening, and I'm glad that I was able to experience it all.

Hamlet

When I was a young boy, my parents surprised me with a quad for Christmas. I remember really wanting one at the time because father had his own and I wanted to be just like him! I was so excited that morning when I saw it outside. I remember running out the door with so much joy that I finally had my own quad.

P.C.H.

My junior year of high school, a friend and myself, were on our way to my sister's basketball game. I was driving the car and he was sitting beside me. The temperature outside was very cold, and there was an abundance of snow on the ground. We were only about a mile or two down the road and I hit a patch of ice. The car suddenly spun out of control, and we went around 720 degrees. The right side tires on my car slammed up against an embankment on the side of the road. Luckily that happened because right next to the embankment was a telephone pole. It could have gone much worse for us had we not hit that embankment. Needless to say, we did not make it to the basketball game because my car was all jacked up.

My Expectations

When my time is spent here at SRU, I expect to graduate with more, useful knowledge than what I came here with. I want to be as close to fully prepared as a future health and physical education professional can be. I expect to be given guidance from my professors to help me be successful so I can one day help guide the students I will be teaching.
